Susan's career began with embroidery and textiles, onto which she added a beaded highlight or three. Susan's love of textiles was soon equalled by her love of beads and became an integral part her distinctive style, one friend even suggested that her trademark should be a bead!

Susan never dreamt that from these simple embellishments a fascination and love of beads would develop, and that from this a whole new career would be forged. Susan's beaded jewellery has since become a major part of her career as an independent textile artist and can be found in many specialist shops and galleries.

"I love the the patterns and the flexibility that can be developed with the symmetry of beads, and their colours, lustre and shimmer", Susan explains. "My aim is to create jewellery that is affordable, comfortable and fun to wear". Susan has certainly succeeded in this becoming one our most popular jewellers whose range of colours, styles and price ranges exceed most others
