Sean Richardson
Sean was born in Keighley, in 1971, and moved with his family at a young age
to picturesque Ottley, in Yorkshire.
He has been sculpting since 1996, but with no formal training he never
considered selling his work until family and friends encouraged him.
Sean finds inspiration for his creations in numerous places, everywhere
from his collection of stationary engines, his hobby of steam engines, and
an interest in astronomy. But most of all Sean says his inspiration lies in
wanting to create characters and creatures that he would like to see; and
they are certainly out of this world!
His highly unusual work becoming well known for it's individual style and
amazing breadth of imagination. |
