David is a skilled aerospace worker with over 30 years experience in the profession. David has used his knowledge of the aerospace industry and the materials used to create quality stainless steel sculptures and nutty characters, and over the past 12 years has developed his own unique style.

These sculptures often sit, and at times times climb up, a variety of unusual stone and wooden bases carefully selected by David and collected from around the world; stones such as rainbow stone from Turkey, marble from Italy and slate from Wales and the Lake District. The woods which David selects include maparmy, zebrano, cherry, sycamore and unique pieces of driftwood, which he sometimes leaves in a semi natural state and at others turns to a smooth, highly polished finish.

David is largely influenced by his love of gardening and the countryside, creating pieces which reflect the creatures and characters that can be found out and about enjoying the great outdoors. David's depictions of daring thrill seekers, and the more gentle among us, are wonderfully amusing and greatly detailed.
